Roast Coffee Company has changed the dynamics of quality coffee at events and festivals! We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kiosk Team Lead to oversee our coffee Kiosks at various events throughout Indianapolis, Indiana. If you have a passion for coffee, strong leadership skills, and love working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Kiosk Team Lead, you will manage our coffee Kiosks at concerts, festivals, and other events, ensuring a seamless, high-quality coffee experience for guests and attendees. You will oversee a team of Event Baristas, maintain inventory, and act as a brand ambassador for Roast Coffee Company.
You’re an ideal candidate if…
- You have experience as a shift and/or team lead, and you enjoy being behind the bar, developing customer relationships, and leading your team
- You are well-organized, detail-oriented, and quickly adapt to change, eager to learn the Roast Way
- You have high energy levels and get excited when the kiosk is operating at peak efficiency, wanting to plant roots and see your team grow
- You can perform under pressure, thrive in fast-paced environments, and efficiently delegate duties
- You take ownership of your position and team, understanding what makes a good barista, and strive to make the kiosk your own
- Bonus: you are ServSafe Manager certified!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of our coffee kiosks at various events, including setup, brewing, service, and breakdown
- Supervise and motivate a team of Event Baristas to provide exceptional customer service and craft outstanding coffee beverages
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock of coffee and supplies
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at the kiosk
- Act as a brand ambassador for Roast Coffee Company
- Report sales to management team
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a barista, with a passion for specialty coffee
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a team
- Ability to create and submit sales reporting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, as dictated by event schedules
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from event locations
